Captain America : Winter Soldier Vs. X-COM : Enemy Within

Almost done... God damn Top Gear.  Almost over...  (on season 18)

But before I finish and finally get back to posting my story, let me do another quick movie and game review showdown.

First, and the most popular right now- Captain America 2!

I liked it.  Really liked it.  The story was well done, and I got into the movie pretty quickly.  The pacing, I thought, was well done, and the interactions with people seemed really well done.
I had so many favorite scenes and so many spoilers if I start talking, so I won't go into it.
But I will say three things.
One - I think they were trying to make the Winter Soldier have sort of a "Joker" swagger, firing with no fear in the middle of the road and walking calmly grabbing weapons to fight... it was sort of hit and miss.
Two - This movie has some of the best hand-to-hand fight scenes I have seen in a good while.  Just to see those again would be awesome.
Three - The film was directed by brothers and it shows.  The interactions between people seem very real, and the comrade interactions between Captain and his friends are touching and heartfelt.

Really good, I fully recommend to go see this movie, even if you aren't a comic book fan.
However, I'm not sure I can fully recommend this though...

X-COM is a science fiction strategy game series that involves aliens trying to take over the world and the player is the commander of a alien attack group.  You make and create your team and let them grow and become a fearsome group...
However...
These aliens aren't playing soft ball.
Every type of alien can do great damage to you, and more than likely, you will lose a soldier.
This is probably why I can't recommend this game fully, because it's really hard, but hard in a way that's kinda heartbreaking.  It's too good.  I've had to play it on easy because I lost so many of my soldiers... and they show you how many you lost.  AND IT'S STILL HARD.
But the strategy is good.  It's just, I'm more of a puzzle/story person.

Hopefully next time, I'll put out "Recognition" from Shades of Fear, but until then I'm going to go finish Top Gear on Netflix.

Later.
