Thor - The Dark World

So I got to say, right out of the gate, this movie is better than the first.

The story is well written and it has "holy crap that was awesome" graphics.  Amazing fight scenes (even though some seemed short, but those were funny) and even amazing acting from most of the cast.  And the villians... oh my word the villians.

They are creepy, like a mix of Doll Face and those Necromongers from Riddick.

The main villain is Malekith, which I only know from the Avenger's cartoon -

(as is the only thing I know about Thor's stuff...)
and is played by "9th Doctor" Chris Eccleston... but hell if I could tell until the credits.

And the Kursed... yeah, he was awesome.

I also have to say that Loki's scenes were also a big part of this movie... He pulls what is usually now called, the "Darth Vader Redemption" effect, but then pulls another "Spaceballs Fooled You" trick at the end.

Damn... now that I think about it, this whole movie is mostly villain focused, with Thor interacting with them.

Also, I got to say, these doll faced dark elves have one of my favorite weapons from my childhood playing MDK2...

     THE BLACK HOLE GRENADE!

...what, no picture or clip?

...That's all.

Damn...

Well, go see this movie then.  It's worth it.
I saw it in 3D and loved it, so I recommend you go see it that way.
Later~
Will
