Life Update... because I need to write.

I'm going to write out an update on what's been going on with me these last few weeks and what's been going on in my head as well.  And some pictures as well.

I guess it started almost 2 months ago, after I found my new apartment.
I've been feeling completely exhausted.  Both mentally and physically.
(Mostly from dealing with a dryer...)
Now, through all this time I have been working at the frame shop almost non-stop.  The time I do have off (Sunday) is usually spent doing other things that take me away from the apartment and work on other things.
It's been a slow recovery...  and it hinders my creativity input.   Not my ideas, just my energy to create.

I've been wanting to do a new fire shot series, or a new Pyromantic (hopefully with Susy again), or even finish the first Pyromantic pictures by actually finish sketching one out as a painting or color pencil.
However, before I can do that I have to finish my office... and it looks like a bomb went off in the middle of it.  And every time I try to work in it, I feel like I need a break.
Which usually leads me to either movies, games, or even plays.

I also have to write a little about a little play I saw, at a place I hadn't been before...

At the Overtime Theater, due to the request of my model/friend who recommend it to me (mostly because she was in it) I saw -

     FAYE DRUMMOND by Tom Rowan

"Faye Drummond, the trophy wife of the fifth-richest man in America, lives in luxury in a penthouse overlooking Central Park. She’s the woman who has everything, but she wants the one thing she can’t have: her handsome stepson, Paul Letos. With apologies to Euripides and Racine, FAYE DRUMMOND updates the Greek myth of Phaedra and Hippolytus to contemporary New York, with uproarious results."

     And it was FUN!
I like it better as just a comedy, but it has this black drama (it's the Greek part, of course) that just threw me out of the story.  The main character Faye is also not really a likeable person, but that is the idea of the story... not my favorite kind of story cause it didn't feel like it flowed that well.  The comedy was great, but the drama almost seemed forced.  But that also stemmed from the roots of it being a modern Greek mythology, and there are few Greek stories that I actually like.
However, the best part of this play, and that made this so fun and enjoyable for me were THE PLAYERS.  The energy and attitude the put into this play had won me over with every inflection and nicely timed statements that worked really well as a dark comedy (which is my favorite type of comedy).  You could tell that they loved the art and showed a passion for it.

Also (as Susy put it), there was boobs.  Really, really nice boobs.  Wish I took pics...
*SMACK to the face*  Yeah, I deserved that.

Strangely enough, after that show, I had the sudden urge to try and write a 6 person screen play on "Scared Sheetless" or most commonly known as Beetlejuice.  It would be dirty, break 4th wall jokes, and have some tricks to it... an update on the movie, TV cartoon, and even some modern new twists.
Don't know why... just came to me.

And then I had to go back to work... and then back home to clean.

However, as much as I needed to stay and finish cleaning and unpacking, I had to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival.  I usually go every year with my family, but last year I couldn't because I was still recovering from the fire damages and having to find a new home so quickly.  So even though I was practically in the same position (minus the fire), I felt like I needed a break.

And I had a great time with the family-

     It was an awesome time.

I was glad but tired again, and now I've recovered and finished a major part of my home.
But... I did the mistake of started to watch Once Upon a Time as I organized my stuff...

...and it pisses me off.
I mean, really?  What the hell, show?  Any writer who watches this should be feeling pain and anger at this.  This... this is awful.   They combine all these fairytale stories (with Disney inflections) and then the do that Lost / Arrow flashback stuff with two storyline, and then make all these connections to previous stories that just make me cringe in disgust.  I get how they are trying to make it a magical experience based in a real world setting... but why did they combine these stories?  This isn't like Dr. Who which are different planets or galaxies or timelines, but "magic".  FUCK YOU MAGIC, CAN YOU MAGIC SOME FUCKING SENSE CAUSE YOU MAKE AS MUCH SENSE AS WHY YOU MADE RUMPELSTILTSKIN INTO ONE OF THE MAIN VILLAINS AND MADE BELLE CARE ABOUT HIM CAUSE HE WAS THE BEAST, WHAT FUCKING SENSE DOES...

     *SMACK*  ...I deserved that too.

And another note (before any of this actually happened) I had some stressful situation about a wrong package that was sent to me.  I finally took care of it, but dealing with it almost snapped me.  Just a crappy day that piled on and on and on (it included the dryer situation I mentioned before.
But recently, that was fixed and I had the time to finally try out a new game.  More specifically, the newest Batman game, Arkham Origins.

My review is short, but in three parts -
Gameplay - Buggy and some problems, but alright.
Story - OH MY GOD, YOU NEED TO PLAY THIS NOW, IT IS SO GOOD.
     Boss battles - eh...

Not a very long game for the main story line, but it has it's gem moments that really make me recommend this to others.  But the lack of females in this is kinda... noticeable.  Like there is only 2 or 3 of them...
But...

I know, I know... let me.

    *SMACK*

All kidding aside and on a brighter note, even though I work in retail and will still be busy until the new year starts, Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up.  I have my gifts for most of my friends and family, and I keep myself trying to move forward and get things done.

Much love for the seasons and for all who I care about who take the time to read the mind of some crazy man who wishes he had some more time.
     Later.

Thor - The Dark World

So I got to say, right out of the gate, this movie is better than the first.

The story is well written and it has "holy crap that was awesome" graphics.  Amazing fight scenes (even though some seemed short, but those were funny) and even amazing acting from most of the cast.  And the villians... oh my word the villians.

They are creepy, like a mix of Doll Face and those Necromongers from Riddick.

The main villain is Malekith, which I only know from the Avenger's cartoon -

(as is the only thing I know about Thor's stuff...)
and is played by "9th Doctor" Chris Eccleston... but hell if I could tell until the credits.

And the Kursed... yeah, he was awesome.

I also have to say that Loki's scenes were also a big part of this movie... He pulls what is usually now called, the "Darth Vader Redemption" effect, but then pulls another "Spaceballs Fooled You" trick at the end.

Damn... now that I think about it, this whole movie is mostly villain focused, with Thor interacting with them.

Also, I got to say, these doll faced dark elves have one of my favorite weapons from my childhood playing MDK2...

     THE BLACK HOLE GRENADE!

...what, no picture or clip?

...That's all.

Damn...

Well, go see this movie then.  It's worth it.
I saw it in 3D and loved it, so I recommend you go see it that way.
Later~

Teaser of "Strawberry - A Chronicle of the Black Coffin Short Story"

I don't think I will be able to finish this short story for Halloween, but hear is a small teaser and I'm really trying to finish... but time and work is holding me down...  -

"Can you look around?"   Crim asked with almost a hurried expression.
Nox shrugged as wings started to pull away from his face and a quarter of his head turned into four winged creatures and flew into the air.  After a few moments, and they disappeared into the dark, Nox closed his remaining eye and said,  "Village nearby, like an hour or two away.  And a nice looking river even closer.  Hey!  I see Gia picking some nuts or something... "
     "Any ghouls?"  Crim interrupted.
"Looks surprising clear.  Been a while since that's happened."
"Good."  And with that said, Crim leaned near a tree and collapsed to the ground.
Nox, with a sudden realization and a pain of fear, rushed over to his fallen brother.  "Crim!  What's wrong?  You feeling the urge, you injured, or what?'
Crim looked at his brother with tired eyes.  "I'm tired."
Nox gave a puzzled expression.  "Oh... that's unusual for you.  You spent a whole week once carrying the coffin with me in it, fighting ghouls, and you didn't even break a sweat.  It's just been a day since we last rest, so what's different?"
"Hey guys!" , came the sound of a familiar female voice from behind Nox.
Crim looked at Nox with a straight face.  "That's what's different."

Gia appeared from the bushed with a smile.  "Hey Nox, you want some... " she started to say, but gave out a scream when she saw that the upper left side of Nox's head was gone.
"What?!  Oh... sorry."  Nox gave a quick whistle as wings came down from the sky and landed on his head, folding and morphing back into Nox's face, until his head was full again.
"I swear I will never get use to seeing that." she said.
     "You'll be surprised."  Crim responded.

Warhol's Flesh for Frankenstein or What the F#ck is Wrong with Warhol?

Before I go into the movie, I guess I should answer the question what my problem is with Warhol.

Back in college, I had to take a modern art class for my degree.  In this class, I was taught for a whole week about Warhol.  During this week, I saw some of the laziest art I had ever seen.  Commercial art and pop art really don't flow well with me... at least, if it is used, it can't be used for profit.  I have seen others copy other artwork, and even I have done it, but I don't care as long as there is no profit made, you make art to express your love, admiration, or desire.
But Warhol's philosophy was simple this -
"Making money is art, and working is art and good business is the best art."
This is an actual quote from his book.  And I fucking hate this dick.
As popular as he was (and kinda is now), he was known as a dick as well.  Some say he was just not easy to work with and was so full of himself that his personality is still being made fun of today as the sterotype of snooty modern artists.
And what do we get from him?  Soup can prints, screen prints of American icons, and really REALLY BAD PRETENTIOUS MOVIES.  LIKE HIS 8 HOUR LONG EMPIRE.  HERE!  WATCH TEN MINUTES OF IT!

AND DON'T FORGET THIS CLASSIC PIECE! -

I WATCHED THESE MOVIES IN CLASS!!!!

Ok... I'm calm now.
The one thing I learned from him though that was worthwhile is that art is attitude.  You make it into art with your description, explanations, and story.

Which I can't say for his producing.

Yes, the Movies that have "Andy Warhol's" on them have little to do with the actual person.  They were made and directed by Paul Morrissey (who I only know from The Hound of the Baskervilles and Women in Revolt), but if I learned anything from The Producers, I know that Warhol had to read a bit and say, "I think this could be a great movie".  And then had his name put on it (either by his choice or not) because he is a copy artist who uses other peoples work to base his profit (SMACK!)...  sigh... ok, no more Warhol ranting, mostly because I really don't want to talk about him any more.

When you talk about Flesh for Frankenstein, you have to talk a little about it's brother film, Blood for Dracula.  I keep hearing different views on which one came first (some say that Flesh was first and the day after they finished filming, they started shooting Blood), but the movie is sort of dull, except for the ridiculous amount of blood spray they do.

The best way to describe it actually comes straight from the trailer -

But Flesh is... well... in a league of it's own.

So let's start the movie and see what we are in for -

(4 seconds later)
ANDY WARHOL PRESENTS!

FUCK YOU, MOVIE!  I HOPE YOU DIE IN A FIERY CRASH!

As we go through the opening credits, we see two children looking through cages and tanks until they find a doll and some tools.  They operate on the doll, messing with it's stuffing, and then put it in a guillotine and cut it's head off with a small squirt of blood.
I believe I should be horrified, but I was raised on Addams family most of my life and this is daily stuff that Pugsley and Wednesday pull off.
When then cut to a small carriage ride with the children and mother through a forest around a castle.  They catch a man playing the bagpipes who is trying to hide two others who were fooling around.  She calls them trash and continues on.

If you are American, like me, you will notice something odd right about now as she spoke... but it won't hit you until the next scene when you first see the Baron and his assistant Otto.

Try not to snicker while watching this -

The dialog is beyond odd.  And that's not even the worst one.

So we see that the Baron is trying to find the perfect "nasum" (or nose), to finish his Serbian creation that he believes is part of the perfect race... insert nazi joke here and move on.  We see the Baroness return with the children having taken them away from their school because of the rumors about their family, while the Baron goes down to his lab and pulls a naked female body out of a tank ( Rocky Horror style... which I guess comes from Frankenstein anyway... hmm... I need to do some more background info about that ).  We also see the male body pile from where he is getting parts for his perfect specimen, which I have to say it is awfully nice that he takes the time to re-sow those bodies after getting those parts.

We then see the family eat dinner at the table... and while listening to the conversation we learn that the Baron and Baroness... who are married and have children... are brother and sister.

...Now, I think the usual response to this would be "Ew."  But since I never had either a brother or sister, I can not rightly say that.
So I asked another person who did.
His direct quote was -

"You sick fuck, who are you?  I'm going to kick your ass!"

Thank you random person!

We listen to bickering from both a brother and sister view and a husband and wife view... the usual "Mom loved you more" argument.  Then it cuts to two men outside digging holes (one with a really strong Brooklyn accent), as they talk about how one of them wants to be a monk and is uninterested about sex.  It then jumps back to the Baron and Otto as they mess with science projects and stick organs in front of the camera.

Did I mention this was filmed in 3D?  Totally can't tell.

The Baroness and kids go out and try to have a picnic, but then stumble upon one of the digging men (the horny one) messing around with another girl.  The Baroness breaks them up and after threatening his job, tells him to meet her at the castle in the morning.  Back at the lab, we see Otto and Baron sow up the male specimen and then have the awkward conversation that I posted earlier.

We then see the two men go to the local whore house, where we see one of them wash her tits... eh...

SEX SCENE!

Well... except for that guy who wants to be a monk.  Who keeps looking at the ass of his friend, until the ladies run out of the room screaming at a lizard.  The Baron sees the Monk man and believes him to be a stud with two women and loves the look of his nose.  They make plans...
The children are put to be with the most annoying mechanical bird lullaby, and we then go to the Baron grabbing tools...

Ok, the cuts for this movie are everywhere.  I swear it keeps changing every minute to a new scene.

The Baron and Otto attack the two men with a club and a pair of hedge trimmers and ACTUALLY BEHEADS THE MONK WITH THE TRIMMER.  Granted, his head transformed into a puppet head from Team America, but I thought the Baron was a doctor, wouldn't he be a little more careful cutting off parts that he needed... especially with such a rusty looking instrument.
With fanfare, the Baron starts to attach the head to the body.  While the horny man, waking up to his friends headless body and probably a hangover from the previous night, goes to see the Baroness to get a tongue lashing and is about to quit with probably the least amount of emotion explaining about his friend's murder when...

SEX SCENE!

I'm seeing a pattern here.

Back at the lab, the Baron is working on the female specimen, cutting stitches and flesh to open her chest with some fake blood.
The look on Otto's face throughout this movie is basically summed up with this one scene -

Along with a look I can only describe as...
"Er... sir, you do know that I'm here in the room with you right?"

And then it gets... weird.  As the Baron starts to sexually fondle the organs.
Yeah... I know.

Aw, look, the children were watching their mom have sex with the farm boy... how touching.
What could be worse than that?

(Ten seconds later)

I stand corrected... Fuck you movie.

The Baron does his 'thing', and then we get that line I said before -
"To know death, Otto..."
Yeah... now you know why he said it.  We still don't know why he DID it, but we can guess it's cause he's fucking nuts... of course!

And we reach the half-way point...  sigh...

The Baron and Baroness talk about the horny farm boy working at the house and how busy he will be...
SEX SCENE!
Oh... how ironic.

With something that sounds like a popcorn machine, they re-animate the two 'zombie' specimens and get them ready to get busy.  At dinner, the Baron brings out his zombies to eat at the table, with the horny farm boy butler seeing the male to have the same head as his friend, but having no strong reaction to it (at least, to my point of view, if they were trying to show him having one, he didn't do it very well).
The kids go down to the lab and start messing with stuff, from grabbing a severed hand to opening a cabinet with breathing lungs in it...
Yeah, I'm just going with it for now.
The kids hide when the Baron brings his zombies back to the lab and while hiding, the kids get attacked by fake bats.  What was the point of this?  I got nothing except a link to DRACULA!!!  Nah, not really...

Another Sex Scene!...an awkward one with lots of armpit sucking...
I wonder what this could be leading up to...

The maid walks into the lab... (wait, I thought only the Baron and Otto knew how to get in...) and gets attacked by Otto, who is suffering from crazy tongue.  As he starts ripping off her clothes... he accidentally rips out her intestines?  I don't get that part... Also this part could have used buckets blood but it's clean...

Hmm... have I been watching this movie for so long that I've become jaded?

The Baron tries to get the zombies to mate... but someone can't get his 'part' working.  The Baron, infuriated at his failure to make the first zombie porn, starts to hunt for what went wrong.  The horny farm boy, after slapping the hell out of the Baroness, sneaks back into the lab and tries to get the male zombie to leave.  The Baron yells at his wife/sister, who gives up information about the farm boy in exchange for time with the male zombie...
Sigh... "Oh, sweet mystery of life, at last I found you..." *groan*
The Baron catches the farm boy leaving and orders the zombie monk to attack.  After a boring and weak fight scene, the Baroness takes the male zombie to her bed...

"Oh, sweet mystery..." *crack & snap*
Well... that came out of nowhere.

While the farm boy is hanging around, Otto goes on a jealous rant and then takes care of the female zombie with his crazy tongue.  And then he disembowels her...
Seriously Otto, how the hell do you keep doing that.
The Baron strangles Otto to death while the male zombie brings him his dead sister/wife.  In a rage, he orders the zombie to kill his friend, but the male zombie (with an unemotional look) attacks the Baron, cutting off his hand with a gate and then epically stabbing him with a spear through the stomach (or gall bladder, I can't tell... that would be hilarious!).

I did mention this was in 3D, right?

The zombie leaves his friend hanging as he disembowels himself and joins the pile of bodies in the room.  As the horny farm boy looks at the pile, the kids walk down the stairs also looking at the pile, before the lung in the cabinet tells them something only they hear, grab tools, and raise the farm boy higher as they prepare for...

The END!

Blah... symbolism leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I find it strange that Rotten Tomatoes gives this movie a high rating.  But the only reason I can see that is because not many people wanted to watch it.
As a horror movie, I find it boring.  As an exploitation movie, it's just not that shocking.  As a parody... actually it kinda works as a parody, but it's still odd.  It's blended so many ideas that's it has become a mess. I personally don't recommend watching it.

What I can recommend is the review that Brows Held High did on the series, which I found the most entertaining and informative of the series.
Watch Blood and then Flesh, for your own Halloween pleasure.

Until then, have a safe time with your experiments and remember...
I've seen worse.

Update and Frankenstein Teaser

Hmm... what could I write about?
I have many things on my mind.

I could write about how I was upset a few days ago when a customer was being really rude to me and I wanted him to throw a punch at me so I could recreate the Lou scene from Fight Club...
But I got over that and moved on.
However, I may write about my idea of peoples perspective of pain later...

I could write about Wolfe, and how my version of the next generation is going along.
But I don't have a mystery case to work with yet...

I could write about the great news I got about finding a new place!  And that I got it for the price I asked for!  And that I am really REALLY excited about it!...
But I pretty much just did that with those three sentences.  Damn.

I could write the next part for SoF... but still working on dialog.

I could also write about me playing Borderlands and how I really been liking it...

Well... this is call 'Disturbed Will',so I guess I can talk about these posters that one of my customers brought in.  I have one customer that is a collector of old movie posters.  He brings in cool old posters like 'Mad Max', 'Grindhouse', 'The Graduate', 'Clockwork Orange', and 'Flash Gordon'.
But he also brings in these other posters...  including this one-

And I had a fit, cause I had watched this movie for my Disturbed List.
And it's bad...
Like, 'I really didn't want to talk about it' bad.
Mostly because of my intense hatred of Andy Warhol...
So I definitely got to talk about it.
Prepare for the sick and twisted next time (I'll try an censor as much as I can).
Because as the movie says-

"To know death, Otto, you have to fuck life... in the gall bladder!"

Shades of Fear ~ 4 - Paralyze

The Lusted have this gift that if you stare into their eyes that all of your desires will be known to them.  Some use that to there advantage and are able to get the most pleasure experience with a price, while others could use it to control weak minded people to do their bidding.  When a Lusted stared into your eyes, it was suppose to feel like pure bliss.  They were her weapons.
However, when emotions are high within either person of this stare, it could easily backfire.
Captain could see her worry, her feelings, and her memories of when they met after the Shadow King disappeared.  He could remember in the smoke filled streets, he found her hurt and helped her recover.  He could remember her name and could even remember that she was a housewife to someone, but didn't know who.  She alone was the only one to call him by a name, but unfortunately, that was all she could remember.  They were close ever since, even after she started to turn into a Lusted.
That's why she always blindfolded herself when she was near Captain.
But as he stared into her eyes without flinching, he couldn't feel anything except her breathing and the smell of cherry lime from her still wet body.
Then Evita started crying and had to turn away from his stare.
Captain sat up and held her tightly as she started to sob silently in his arms.  He was used to seeing her confident, flirty, and even vicious sometimes when she was hungry.  But he hadn’t seen her cry often.
"Don't go," she repeated quietly to him.  "You don't need to go.  You don't need to know."
"I don't," he whispered back.  "But I think you do."
She looked at him as he stared back into her eyes and started to kiss her.
And for that moment, all Captain could taste was cherry lime.

Evita stayed until Captain started to get ready to leave, and then she quickly put on her rag like dress and started out the door before Captain could even get pants on.
They said their usual goodbye when Captain went on trips like this.
     "Stay safe," she said.
"I will, as long as you do." he replied as they smiled to each other.  And with that she was gone, once again headed to the streets.
Captain didn't worry that much when she left, since he knew she could handle herself.  But there was a slight nagging feeling that he should have done something more for her.  But that feeling passed as he started to dress and could feel the sore spots that were made from earlier last night.
"Damn woman, you're going to be the death of me if the monsters don't get me first."  He said jokingly to himself.  It didn't cheer him up as much as he wanted it to.
Besides his usual heavy cloth jeans that he wore, he also had a simple black shirt laid with his ammo belt and holster for his gun.  He finished dressing by putting on his dark brown duster that was padded with leather protection for blades and bites, and headed out of the room and out into the street.
Salric was outside of the Sleeper's Hotel, of course. He didn't have a cloak on this time, showing off his entire body cover in black shiny bandages, with an ammo belt across his chest and stomach.  Behind him was a long rifle that Captain knew he was a dead shot on.
"You look prepared Captain, but where's your gun?"
"Got to pick it back up from Horace before we leave.  Still have my bullets?"
Salric opened one of the pockets on his belt and pulled out four golden bullets.
Captain frowned.  "Only four left?  If I knew that, I wouldn't have fired one yesterday," he said with his palm opened up.
Salric dropped the last four into Captain's open hand.  "I still have a hard time believing you beat me at Rummy."
"And I still can't believe you put them up for your bet when I raised you a few coins."
"We all make mistakes, let's move on."
Captain looked around, searching for anyone else.  "The team?"
"Everyone but Hembar will meet up with us."
Captain was not shocked by this news.  Hembar's most useful feature was haggling and gathering info.  Besides, he was not in the best of shape to be coming on a trip like this.
But everyone else was joining?  That was surprising to him.
Captain knew that Salric would be coming, his fierce loyalty from being saved from the Walker's Pit and past friendship made sure of that.  He would follow Captain into the worst situations and never complain about a thing.  To Hell and back.
But the others didn't have such strong convictions...
"Let's head over to Horace's real quickly and meet up with them."  Salric agreed and followed behind as Captain strode though the crowd and towards the shop.

As they came into view of Gun Metal Heavy, Captain could see that the usually light that came from the shop fires was significantly dimmed down.  That was enough to speed Captain's walk towards the front of the store, where it was evident that there had been some sort of fight.  The wooden table near the front was broken in half, with tools sprawled all over the floor and walls, with dents, cuts, and holes everywhere.
"Horace!"  Captain yelled out in worry.
"Yo, Cap", came the usual heavy voice from the back of the shop, much to Captain's relief.  There was the sound of a shuffle, and Captain saw Horace slowly limp his way to the front with a clothed item.  Horace had looked better, his face now swollen with a broken nose, his piercings missing from his bloodied face.  It had looked like he was hit with a hammer to the face.
"Jesus, Horace.  What the hell happened?"
"Oh, just the hazards of the job, as usual."  Salric picked up a fallen chair nearby and presented it to Horace, who gladly accepted with a groan of pain as he sat down.  "But long story short, I think we are even."
Captain, even though he has had his fair share of trouble from Horace, had actually taken a liking to large man and had even considered him a friend of some sort.  To see him beaten up like this irked him greatly.  "Give me the long story.  Who did this?"
Horace sighed but then he gave that grin that people get when something really unbelievable happened and couldn't wait to tell what it was.  "A few days ago, some hulking metal guy that was ticking came by and gave me a bottle of black liquid, a lot of gold coins, and a letter."
Captain gave a look to Salric, who gave one back, and then asked, "What was on the letter?"
"Lots of fancy words, but basically it was payment to make the strongest chains I possibly could and cover them in this black liquid stuff.  Now I usually would like to know what stuff I'm given so that it would blow up in my face... literally.  Had one item that..."
Same old Horace, he'll be fine, thought Captain, before he actually said, "Horace."
"Sorry, off track.  Anyway, I took a close look at the bottle and the contents.  It looks just like regular ink until I tried to open it.  Then it started to move like it was bubbling.”
     “Move?”
“Yeah, it was fucking awesome.  Tried to grab me a couple of times, but after a few minutes it went limp.  I put it though a few tests first, like fire and some scrap metal.  It adhered to the metal like stink to a skunk.  And the fire… well it was completely unaffected.  In fact, I was tempted a few times to try and touch the flame to see if it was still hot.  Gave me an idea on how to fix a certain problem... Anyway, I made the chain links specific to the instructions and painted them completely with the stuff. Even with a second coating, I still had some left over."  He gave another grin before quickly groaning a laugh. "Well, that ticking guy came back with two more like him, which is scary in itself, and they display this wooden box."
     "Box?"
"Yeah, box.  Not exactly a crate but bigger than a cube."  He gestured a square about the size of his chest.  Captain guessed it was probably around two by two feet.  "Seemed like just a regular wooden box at first.  But they place it on the table there," he pointed to the broken table, "and it started to move as well.  And at first I thought, 'Hey, there's something alive in that thing!'.  But one of the soldiers, this slimy green looking one, pulled a fucking spear and stabbed the box.  The large ticking one punched the green one and pulled the spear out, leaving this hole in it.  It stopped moving after that...
"The ticking guy never spoke to me, but he had these papers that he wrote on.  And the first thing he wrote was 'Put the chains on it'.  Now, I have seen some weird stuff brought to me before, but not like this.  I brought the chains over and started to attach them to the box, mostly with bolts and screws.
"As I was putting on the last chain links, that's when shit went wrong."
Horace's face became cold and he gave a quick shiver.
"When the last bolt was placed in, I could hear someone whimpering.  I looked around, but the soldiers and the ticking guy were silent, waiting for me to finish.  I took a look at the box and then looked through the hole and didn't see anything.  All that was inside was darkness, as black as the liquid they gave me for the chains.  I was about to shrug it off when I saw it.
"It was an eye.  A bright white eye staring back at me.  And I felt paralyzed.
"And I felt arms grab me and started pulling me towards the box.  And I heard a voice, the same one that was whimpering.
     "It told me to run.
"And then the ticking guy pulled me away and sucker punched me in the face.  I woke up a few hours ago to all this."
Captain had a questioned expression, but didn't know what to ask.  So he went with the safe reply, "At least you're ok."
“Well I can’t be too mad, I did find a silver lining in the shit storm of a mess.  Like that black gunk.”
     “What about it?”
“Had some left over to fix another problem.”  Horace smiled with a bloody grin and unwrapped the clothed item he had to reveal a familiar shaped gun.
It looked the same except for the color, which was now a dull metal black.
Captain took it in his hand and gave a surprised look to Horace, "You didn't."
Horace almost jumped out of his seat, "I so fucking did!  How about that for fire resistant!  I probably still wouldn't fire multiple shots though, but it's definitely more durable.  And now it even looks as awesome as..."  Horace looked around, and then had a sudden realization.  He limped across the room and started to look around the floor.
“Aw, damn it.”  Horace said as he kept looking around his messed up shop.  “They took my welding mask too.”

Evita walked calmly through the crowded streets of Main Street to reach her usual alley, gaining the much attention of men as she gave a wink in their direction.
She heard some woman scoff and whisper, “Whore.”
Without missing a beat, she quickly turned to the woman and pinned her to the wall as she started to kiss her in front of the crowd.  She stopped right before the prissy woman was about to orgasm and smiled in a smug way.
“Better a whore than a toy,” and she walked away with more people paying attention.
Evita was more than confident about her abilities.  As long as she had her stare and, according to Captain, her smoking hot figure, she could take on anyone.  She as had her shape shifting, but that only worked as an illusion and didn't have any kind of power behind it.
At first, when she turned into a Lusted, she felt so bad for Captain, who took really good care of her during the painful process.  Her drive and desire was so high that even after a whole night of being together, it wasn't enough.  She wished he was though... But with time and multiple incidences, she had gotten used to it.
As long as she has Captain to come to at the end.
She walked into a quiet alley, away from the busy crowds of Main Street.  She was calm until she heard someone coming towards her.  At first she thought it was an onlooker who wanted to be an employer, so she looked around but saw no one.  However, the sound kept getting louder and louder.
She turned and started to hurry to her usual spot, where she was at least protected by the other Lusted.  But the noise kept getting louder.  Like a person was walking closer to her in a set manner.
She kept looking around, to give someone a stare or a yell.  Who was pursuing her?
Then she realized it wasn't someone walking towards her.
     It was ticking.

Captain and Salric made sure Horace was alright and started to head to the meeting place with the new gun now in Captain's holster.  And as they walked up, they noticed that Brant, Doc Jay, and Tusk were already there.
Brant was a quiet man, with straw blond hair and an thin athletic build.  He carried a large backpack that was almost larger than he was with ease.  He was whistling calmly as they strode forward and greeted him with a simple nod, who gave one in return.
Brant, for lack of a better word, was the pack mule.  Ammo, secondary weapons, traps, and even food and water, he carried.  At first, it seemed as a joke, the group just kept loading him with stuff to make him say something in protest.  But he never did, and what started as a joke became a pure recognition of strength and skill.

Tusk Smith was large muscled Warrior that almost turned into a monster, with a thick build and large extended arms.  Captain met him in the Coliseum bashing over twenty people with a simple hand hammer and decided to take him for a job.  Now he was the muscle of the group, the first to go into a fight and the last to leave it.  He still carried his trusted hand hammer though, for both memory of where he came from and for emergency.
Doc Jay's real name was Jacob Simmons.  He was also from the Coliseum, but he used to be the healer for the contestants of the matches.  He was an older gentleman, with a dirty white coat that hid his automatic hand gun that seemed older than he was.  He was a crack shot, but still not as sharp as his insults.
"Hello, gentlemen."  Captain said to all.
Before anyone could say anything else though, an armored person started to rush over to them.  Like Abaddon, it was heavily armored, but instead of the bright metal colors, its armor was a bright blood red.  It also had lights and tubes attached to its shoulders, leading down to its hands.  The face mask though...
It reminded Captain of a cow or bull of some sort, with rounded breathing tubes for a nose and mouth.  Except for the left eye, which was scratched heavily, but no eyes could be seen inside.
However, instead of ticking like Abaddon, it smelt of heat and gasoline.
And anger.  Captain could feel anger come from this thing.
Behind it were two black and white soldiers caring a board that had a black box on top of it.  It was chained down, with a hole showing on it's side.

Green Fire Test

Continued to work on part 4 of SoF and got so close to finishing it... but...
It still needs some editing.  Dialog and timeline is done, but still needs some fixing.

But it's a bad habit to not post something for the weekend, so what do I have?

Well I got green fire.

Yeah!
I also got some more cinammon flares that look very much like birds.

These are unedited, no Photoshop nor cropping, and not the best of the group.  I pulled these from the video I took while testing it out.  I think I can do a shoot with a model again (still an opening for you Susy, if we can ever have a schedule that works for both of us, damn work...), but unfortunately I will be busy looking for a new place to live.  Would like to find a roommate, but it looks like I will be moving somewhere by myself (which is actually ok with me).

Will be busy, but will still try to get stuff done.
Later.
